A three-day Girls Sports Carnival started at the Pakistan Sports Board in Islamabad today. Addressing the opening ceremony, Minister for Education Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said such carnivals provide opportunities to empower young girls and encourage them to pursue their passions through sports. A total of four thousand women from across the country are participating in various sports competitions, including track and field events, basketball, football, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, and tennis.
