Twenty-one public-sector, private-sector and development institutions have been honoured at the Insurance Association of Pakistan (IAP) Partner Awards 2026 for contributions spanning financial inclusion, digital transformation, public service, innovation and development of the country's insurance ecosystem. The awards ceremony, organised by the IAP, was held at Mohatta Palace and brought together senior representatives from the insurance industry, government, regulatory authorities, financial institutions, development organisations and the corporate sector. Among the recipients was the Prime Minister's National Health Program, or Sehat Card, alongside the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Sindh Police, Sindh Revenue Board, Central Depository Company (CDC) and 1LINK. Several other organisations were also recognised, bringing the total number of recipients to 21. The awards covered contributions in areas including industry development, financial inclusion and technological change. The range of recipients reflect ed the involvement of institutions outside the traditional insurance industry in activities connected with Pakistan's broader insurance ecosystem. Recognition of public agencies, financial infrastructure providers and development institutions also highlighted the varied institutional links involved in extending financial services and supporting changes in the sector. Rana Ahsan Afzal Khan, Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Commerce, presented the awards alongside Shoaib Javed Hussain, Chairman of the Insurance Association of Pakistan. The event drew senior figures from both government and business, as well as representatives of regulatory bodies and development institutions. According to the information provided, the 21 organisations were selected for their contributions and leadership across innovation, financial inclusion, digital transformation, public service and insurance-industry development. The IAP Partner Awards thus placed particular emphasis on institutional collaboration, recognising organisa tions whose activities have contributed to the wider infrastructure and development of Pakistan's insurance ecosystem.
