Islamabad: The meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is scheduled for this evening to observe the Moon of Shawwal. This crucial meeting will be chaired by Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad and is set to take place on the rooftop of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony. According to Radio Pakistan, the zonal meetings of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committees will simultaneously be conducted in the provincial capitals. These meetings are an integral part of the process to determine the beginning of the month of Shawwal, which marks the end of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.
