Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has disbursed funds to designated banks for prompt refund to the pilgrims.

The Ministry’s Spokesperson Muhammad Umar Butt said all pilgrims have been sent messages in this regard, providing them assurance and clarity about the refund process.

He said the payment process is expected to commence in the coming week through the designated banks.

The spokesperson emphasized the importance of expediting the reimbursement process and ensuring that the designated banks facilitate the pilgrims.

He said the pilgrims will receive refunds ranging from 97,000 to 132,000 rupees.

Umar Butt said the ministry has also reached out to private schemes’ pilgrims in a bid to seek their opinions and to address their concerns and grievances.
