Punjab Cabinet today approved relief in electricity bills for Punjab and Islamabad. The approval was given during a meeting of provincial cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in Lahore today. Addressing the meeting, Maryam Nawaz said provision of forty six billion rupees relief in electricity bills is the vision of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. She announced that a solar panel program will soon be initiated and work has already begun to provide further relief in electricity bills by next summer. She informed that consumers in Punjab and Islamabad will get fourteen rupees per unit relief in their August and September bills. She informed that domestic consumers using two hundred and one to five hundred units will benefit from this relief. Source: Radio Pakistan
