ASTORE: The search operation involving expert divers from the Pakistan Army and Navy is actively ongoing in Astore after a tragic incident where a bus carrying wedding guests plunged into the Indus River in Gilgit-Baltistan. According to Radio Pakistan, the unfortunate event occurred on Tuesday when a bus with 28 passengers was traveling from Astore to the Chakwal district and tragically fell from the Telchi Bridge into the river. The search operation is set to continue until all bodies are recovered. As of now, fifteen bodies have been retrieved from the river. The Pakistan Army divers, equipped with modern equipment, are working alongside the Pakistan Navy team to expedite the search efforts. The Pakistan Army has expressed its solidarity with the bereaved families during this sorrowful time and pledged to provide all necessary support.
