Pakistan Army has established Al-Barq e-Business Centers in Okara to promote information technology and empower youth by enhancing their skills in e-learning and e-business. The Centers, established in line with the vision of Army Chief, have attracted young people looking to earn through digital entrepreneurship. Since January 24, one hundred forty students were mentored under this project, who earned more than 3,000 individually. Furthermore, more than fifteen companies were launched by students under Al-Barq e-Business Centers, which are being interlinked with national and international firms for further development. The initial profit generated by these one hundred forty start-ups remained remarkable, which enhanced employment for the youth.
