A six-day long immunization campaign against measles will begin in the Gilgit Baltistan from Monday.

Coordinator National immunization Program Gilgit Baltistan Dr Iqbal Rasool said that over eleven hundred children have been affected by measles in Gilgit, Nagar, Hunza, Astore and Diamer.

He said the campaign will be launched in 20 union councils for which a medical team comprises 125 staff has been constituted.
