A flag hoisting ceremony was held at the highest point of Pakistan, Khunjerab top in connection with the Independence Day of country. Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Haji Gulbar Khan hoisted the national flag along with Commander FCNA in Khunjerab. A large number of people witnessed the ceremony and children presented national songs and received applause from the gathering.
