Islamabad: Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while hilly areas will experience cold conditions over the next twelve hours. Smog may develop in a few plain areas of Punjab during the same period. According to Radio Pakistan, the temperature recorded in major cities this morning showed Islamabad at seven degrees centigrade, Lahore at twelve, Karachi at sixteen, Peshawar at eight, Quetta at two, Gilgit at minus-two, Murree at five, and Muzaffarabad at four degrees centigrade. In the weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cold and dry weather is anticipated in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. Leh is expected to experience very cold and dry conditions, while dry weather is forecasted for Jammu. The recorded temperatures this morning were zero degrees centigrade in Srinagar and Anantnag, ten in Jammu, minus-six in Leh, minus-two in Pulwama and Shopian, and minus-one in Baramula.
