Dhaka: The sixty-first death anniversary of second Prime Minister of Pakistan Khawaja Nazimuddin is being observed today. He served as the second governor-general of Pakistan from 1948 to 1951, and later as the second Prime Minister of Pakistan from 1951 to 1953. According to Radio Pakistan, Khawaja Nazimuddin was born in Dhaka to the family of Nawabs. He pursued his education at Aligarh Muslim University and Cambridge University. Khawaja Nazimuddin passed away on this day in 1964 at the age of 70.
