Islamabad: Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir has emphasized the necessity for united efforts to combat the ongoing threat of terrorism. During his address at the Federal Apex Committee meeting of the National Action Plan, held in Islamabad and chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, General Munir highlighted the collective role every Pakistani must play in this fight, whether in uniform or not. He underscored that any hindrance to national security efforts will face severe repercussions. According to Radio Pakistan, General Munir stressed the role of the Pakistan Army and law enforcement agencies in addressing governance weaknesses through their daily sacrifices. He reiterated the paramount importance of the Constitution of Pakistan, stating that it entrusts the responsibility of both internal and external security to the nation's security forces.
