Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has established a new department to ensure price control in the province. In this connection, a special meeting was held in Lahore today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, during which the price control mechanism and related matters were reviewed. She approved a new price control mechanism in line with international standards. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said the interests of the common man, farmers, and traders will be protected. Maryam Nawaz stressed the need for closely monitoring the market dynamics and in this connection she announced to launch a forecast bulletin to stabilize market rates.
