Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) is playing pivotal role in boosting foreign investment in the country. According to the latest update, due to facilitation of SIFC, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan registered 2,864 new companies in July 2024 with the aim of increasing exports and foreign investment. The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan has achieved the highest ever target of number of registered companies in a month with an increase of 25 percent compared to the same month last year.
