The National Assembly today approved eighty four supplementary demands for grants pertaining to various ministries for the fiscal year 2021-22.

Fifteen excess demands for grants pertaining to various ministries for the year 2021-22 were also approved by the house.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar also laid before the house the Schedule of Authorized Expenditure 2023-24, Supplementary Schedule of Authorized Expenditure 2021-22 and 2022-23 and Excess Schedule of Authorized Expenditure 2021-22.

The House today also passed “The Election (Amendment) Bill, 2023” to further amend the Election Act 2017.

It was moved by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar. The bill has already been passed by the Senate.
