President of Belarus Arrives in Islamabad for Bilateral Talks with Pakistani Leadership.


Islamabad: President of the Republic of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has arrived in Pakistan for a three-day official visit, marking a significant step in strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif personally welcomed President Lukashenko at the Nur Khan airbase in Rawalpindi, highlighting the importance of the visit.

According to Radio Pakistan, the agenda for President Lukashenko’s visit includes extensive discussions with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on a variety of bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest. The two leaders are expected to engage in dialogue aimed at enhancing cooperation across various sectors.

In addition to the high-level talks, the visit will feature delegation-level discussions between officials from both countries. A significant outcome of these meetings is anticipated to be the signing of several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), which will further solidify the partnership between Pakistan and Belarus.

The arrival of a hi
gh-level Belarusian delegation, consisting of sixty-eight members led by the Foreign Minister of Belarus, preceded President Lukashenko’s visit. This delegation includes key ministers from the Belarusian cabinet as well as prominent business figures and investors, underscoring the economic dimension of the visit.

The presence of President Lukashenko and his delegation in Pakistan is a testament to the robust and evolving relationship between the two countries, with both sides keen to explore new avenues for cooperation and mutual benefit.
