PASDEC schedules sale of marble blocks on introductory price through open auction)

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Stone Development Company (PASDEC) Monday announced a schedule of open auction series for marble blocks, regular and irregular, extracted from various quarry projects on introductory prices, says a press release issued here.

It said that PASDEC is endeavouring to develop the Marble and granite sector of Pakistan through use of state of the art machinery. More than 16 projects have been established across the country for modern quarrying. The auctions will be held at PASDEC projects and regional office Quetta from 19th December 2011 to 13th January 2012.

According to schedule the first auction will be held on three different project sites in Khyber Pakhtun Khawa province. On 19th December the auction of marble blocks to be programmed at Quarry Up-gradation Tor Warsek Buner at 11:00 am. While on the same day the second and third phases of auction will be held at Model Quarry Buner at 1:00 pm and at Quarry Up-gradation Buner at 3:00 pm respectively.

The regular and irregular marble blocks extracted from Quarry Up-gradation Mohmand Agency (FATA) and Model Quarry Chitral will be sold through auction on 28th December at PASDEC Ware House (Marble City) Risalpur by 11:00 am.

At the final stage of auction series the marble blocks of Quarry Up-gradation Mastung-I, Quarry Up-gradation Mastun-II, Quarry Up-gradation Loralai and Model Quarry Nal (Khuzdar) will be held on 13th January 2012 at PASDEC Regional Office Quetta. All four projects have been established by PASDEC in Balochistan for Marble and Granite sector development in the country.
