Pakistan has strongly condemned Israel's decision to ban UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees. In a post on social media platform X today, Pakistan's permanent representative to the United Nations Ambassador Munir Akram said the role of Agency is irreplaceable, providing lifesaving aid and support to millions. He said any effort to diminish its role will have severe humanitarian and regional consequences. The Ambassador said the passage of bills by Israeli parliament regarding the UNRWA is evidence that Israel doubling down on its genocidal war against Palestinians by cutting off lifeline for them provided by UNRWA and other UN entities.
