OIC asked to play effective role to resolve Kashmir dispute

Srinagar, April 05, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leader Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has urged the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to play its effective role in settlement of the Kashmir dispute. Mukhtar Ahmad Waza addressing a public meeting at Doroo in Islamabad said the OIC, which comprises 58 Islamic countries, can pursue India to hold meaningful talks with Pakistan for resolution of the long-pending Kashmir dispute.

Meanwhile, another Hurriyet leader Muhammad Musaddiq Aadil in a statement welcomed the invitation to APHC Chief Mirwaiz Umar Farooq to attend the OIC summit, scheduled in Istanbul on 10th of this month. He called upon OIC heads to press India to issue travel documents to Mirwaiz Umar Farooq so that he could participate in the meeting.
