Islamabad: National Emergencies Operation Center (NEOC) of NDMA has issued an alert regarding possible smog conditions in various parts of the country. According to Radio Pakistan, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa plains, and upper Sindh are expected to experience a significant increase in fog and smog. Visibility will remain low during nighttime and early morning hours due to fog up until Saturday. NDMA has directed all relevant departments to take special measures to mitigate the effects of fog.
