NDMA Issues Warning for Intermittent Rainfall Across the Nation


Islamabad: The National Disaster Management Authority has issued a warning for intermittent rainfall in various parts of the country over the next twelve hours. The advisory comes as the region braces for potential weather-related disruptions.



According to Radio Pakistan, the National Emergencies Operation Center of the NDMA has urged the public to exercise caution, particularly in mountainous areas where the risk of landslides is heightened. Residents are advised to stay updated on weather developments through radio, television, and the Pak NDMA Disaster Alert app, and to adhere to guidance from local authorities.



This morning, temperatures in major cities were recorded as follows: Islamabad, Lahore, and Peshawar at twenty degrees centigrade, Karachi at twenty-eight, Quetta and Murree at fifteen, Gilgit at twelve, and Muzaffarabad at sixteen degrees centigrade.



In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the weather forecast predicts cloudy conditions with the possibility of rain and thunderstorms in regions such as Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Shopian, Anantnag, and Baramulla. The temperatures in these areas this morning were recorded at twelve degrees centigrade in Srinagar, twenty-one in Jammu, six in Leh, and eleven in both Pulwama and Shopian, while Anantnag and Baramulla were at ten degrees centigrade.
