Ganda singhwala: The National Emergency Operation Center of NDMA has issued an alert for an extraordinary level of flood at Ganda Singhwala in the Sutlej River, where the flow has surpassed 3.5 lakh cusecs.
According to Radio Pakistan, the alert highlights that rains and a possible release of floodwater from India may worsen the situation. Civil administration and rescue agencies in Kasur and surrounding areas are on high alert to manage any potential emergencies.
As per the directives of the Prime Minister, the NDMA is actively providing assistance to the provincial government to mitigate the impact of the flood. The public has been strongly advised to adhere to safety arrangements and follow instructions from the local administration to ensure their safety.
