National Productivity Organisation to host IPC 2011 from Nov. 17

ISLAMABAD: In order to attract foreign investment as well as to encourage local entrepreneurs, National Productivity Organisation (NPO) in collaboration with Asian Productivity Organisation (APO) is hosting International Productivity Congress (IPC) 2011 from Thursday.

The two-day IPC 2011 is scheduled to be held in Islamabad on November 17 and 18. It will mark the beginning of an important episode in productivity movement where renowned achievers from different fields of life will be gathering to share their success stories.

The productivity congress would announce fellowships for World Federation of Productivity Sciences (52 countries) and NPO would extend this opportunity to nominate any practitioner from the participant organisation to be part of the list as a successful achiever and its future contributor.

The idea of IPC 2011 is to build new connections and strengthen each other’s network beyond borders so that a mechanism of synergy flourishes within every industry leading to a fortification of public-private partnerships through tripartite relationship so that breakthroughs in productivity quality improvements can be achieved.

On the event of IPC 2011, NPO would renew its pledge for ensuring productivity movement for Pakistan and will initiate interventions to overcome the economic challenges. Various international linkages will be capitalised and sharing of information will take place.
