Indian forces vandalize houses in Kupwara

Srinagar, September 15, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, Indian forces vandalized several houses while chasing youth in Kupwara district.

Witnesses and reports said that the youth were playing cricket in a ground in Hayan village when an Army convoy passed by.

“Three boys threw as many stones at a forces vehicle,” said a local. He said that the forces chased the boys who slipped into by-lanes and ran away.

“The armed personnel barged into houses and damaged everything they could lay their hands on. This included windowpanes, entry gates, glasses, and doors,” said a resident.

Meanwhile, a youth was critically injured after he was stabbed by Indian forces’ personnel in Kulgam district.

Eyewitnesses told mediamen that the youth, Rameez Ahmad Ganai, was stabbed multiple times in the compound of his house in Buchroo village. He was shifted to District Hospital Islamabad where from he was referred to Soura Institute of Medical Sciences in Srinagar for specialized treatment.

Doctors at the District Hospital Islamabad said that the youth had suffered multiple bruises and cuts all over his body.
