Inspector General Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi visited various Imambargahs and reviewed security measures. Speaking on the occasion, he directed to adopt strict security measures for the safety of the mourners during Muharram gatherings and processions. He asked the officials on duty to remain alert and keep strict vigil on people coming to attend Majalis. He urged the administration of to make appropriate arrangements for lighting inside and around the Imambargahs. He directed the officers and officials on duty to maintain liaison with each other for making the security arrangements effective.
