Government provides incentives to entrepreneurs to boost exports: President Mamnoon Hussain

Islamabad, July 19, 2016 (PPI-OT):President Mamnoon Hussain has said that the government is making concerted efforts to provide incentives and conducive environment to country’s industrialists and entrepreneurs to boost country’s exports and further strengthen the national economy. The President said this while talking to a delegation of Sargodha Chamber of Commerce of Commerce and Industry (SCC and I) which headed by its President Mukhtar Mirza called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad on Tuesday.

The President assured that the present government is cognizant of the needs of business and industrial community and would do everything to help them within the available resources. The President lauded government economic policies which have yielded good results that have been acknowledged by International Institutions and now Pakistan has been included in the Emerging markets index.

The President said that with the completion of CPEC projects national economy would be further strengthened and emphasized that businessmen and industrialists should prepare themselves to fully utilize economic opportunities that would arise once CPEC projects are completed. The President of Sargodha Chamber of Commerce apprised President Mamnoon Hussain about the problems being faced by the Chamber regarding establishment of Dry Port, Small Industries Estate and Women University in Sargodha.
