Karachi –– Expo Pakistan 2011, mega exhibition of country’s products will be held at Karachi Expo Centre from October 20-23 along with a trade, investment multilateral conference being organized in collaboration with Board of Investment through participation of bilateral forums, trade associations to highlight five sectors for investment.
This was announced Thursday by Chief Executive Trade Development Authority of Pakistan TDAP Tariq Iqbal Puri at press conference with President Pak-Japan Business Forum Abdul Kader Jaffer here. Puri said thematic approach will be adopted in product display in best professional way with help of best exhibition designers by taking on board FPCCI, chambers and all product associations. Potential buyers of every product have been invited.
TDAP Chief said there will be separate hall for agro products to showcase potential of agriculture sector. “Security concerns of foreign buyers will be over by October which is also best month for spring orders in the West,” he added.
Kader Jaffer said 12 to 14 business forums like Pak-Japan, Pak-German, Pak-China, Pak-France, Pak-Sri Lanka, Pak-Russia, Pak-Belgium, Pak-Italy, Pak-USA, Pak-Australia will help invite leading investors from their countries. Textile, dairy farming, energy, engineering, chemicals, pharmaceutical, mining, minerals have been selected to focus at half-day conference for foreign investors.
