Sialkot: Federal Minister for Defense Khawaja Muhammad Asif has announced the establishment of an Information Technology Park in Sialkot. He made this announcement while presiding over a review meeting of ongoing development projects in the city. According to Radio Pakistan, Minister of State for IT and Telecommunications Shaza Fatima is expected to visit Sialkot to discuss the initiative further. The IT Park is part of a broader effort to boost technological development and employment opportunities in the region. In addition to the IT Park, Khawaja Muhammad Asif also provided updates on significant infrastructure projects. He stated that the Sialkot-Khariyan Motorway is scheduled to become operational by 2025. Furthermore, plans are underway to upgrade the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway to three lanes, improving connectivity and travel efficiency in the area.
