Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal has emphasized to align Pak-Saudi relations with modern reality by enhancing trade. Talking to Saudi Investment Minister Khalid Bin Abdulaziz Al Falih in Islamabad, he said Pakistan-Saudi ties are unique and have always withstood the test of time. The Minister stressed that political relationship between the two brotherly countries will strengthen with robust economic cooperation. Citing the trade figures between both countries, which was 4.6 billion dollars in 2022, he said Pakistan is committed to increase it by collaborating with Saudi leadership. The Minister said increasing agricultural productivity is a key focus area for the government. During the meeting, both sides discussed areas in which bilateral trade can be increased.
