Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah calls on Commander in Chief Egyptian Navy

Islamabad, February 03, 2016 (PPI-OT): Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah is on an official visit to Egypt. During the visit, the Naval Chief called on Commander in Chief Egyptian Navy, Rear Admiral Ossama Moneir Mohamed Rabie, today.

Upon his arrival, the Admiral was received by his counterpart, Rear Admiral Ossama Moneir Mohamed Rabie. A ceremonial Guard of Honour was also presented to the Naval Chief on the occasion. During the meeting, Admiral Zakaullah dilated upon matters of mutual interest and bilateral naval collaboration.

The Naval Chief also highlighted Pakistan’s commitment and performance in fight against terrorism including participation in Coalition Maritime Campaign Plan (CMCP) and Counter Piracy Operations. Commands of Multinational Task Forces 150 and 151 by Pakistan Navy were also discussed.

Earlier Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah also visited tomb of unknown sailor and laid wreath. It is expected that recent visit of the Naval Chief will enhance and expand collaboration between the two countries in general and navies in particular.
