Expressing concern over renewed fighting in Ethiopia, the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has called for an immediate ceasefire to the hostilities.

Fighting erupted in Tigray yesterday, with both the government and the rebels accusing each other for resuming the hostilities bringing an end to a five-month-old ceasefire.
