Turkiye has urged the United States to lift sanctions on its defence industry.

In a joint news conference with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Ankara, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said finalizing the F-16 fighter jet sale deal is beneficial for both sides.

He stressed the need to fight against terrorism and terror groups together.
