Tech Valley Pakistan has been recognised with the Sales Leadership Award at the Global Partner Forum 2026 in London, a distinction that underscores the country's expanding footprint in global education technology and highlights its drive to localise digital learning infrastructure. The accolade was received in person by Umar Farooq, chief executive officer of Tech Valley, marking what the organisation described as a milestone in Pakistan's participation in the international edtech arena. The award was conferred in recognition of Tech Valley's role in developing the Chromebook ecosystem in Pakistan. Central to that effort was the launch of the country's first-ever Chromebook assembly line, an initiative aimed at improving affordability, expanding access to learning devices and strengthening local technical support. At the forum, Mr Farooq said the achievement extended beyond commercial metrics. He noted that the assembly line represented a step towards ensuring that digital tools reach classrooms where they are most needed, framing the effort as part of a broader responsibility to build systems that widen access and promote inclusive education at scale. The recognition, granted at the Global Partner Forum 2026, reflects what the company described as a sustained push to transform Pakistan's digital education landscape. Through partnerships with government institutions, enterprise collaborators and multilateral stakeholders, Tech Valley has sought to accelerate the adoption of Chromebooks and Google Workspace for Education across the country. According to the organisation, commitments for continued expansion remain in place, signalling further growth in the use of technology-enabled learning platforms. The initiative also aligns with wider efforts to address structural challenges in Pakistan's education sector, including the issue of children currently out of school. By promoting equitable access, supporting foundational learning and encouraging inclusive digital instruction, Tech Valley says it is working to r eshape educational outcomes for young people nationwide. Mr Farooq described the honour as belonging not only to the company's leadership but also to its team and partners, reiterating a commitment to advancing quality digital education. The recognition in London positions Tech Valley Pakistan within the broader global conversation on education technology, while spotlighting the emergence of local manufacturing and ecosystem development as tools to bridge the digital divide.
