Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited and Hyundai Nishat Motors have signed a strategic agreement to supply Shell lubricants for Hyundai vehicles, launching a new co-branded engine oil developed to meet Hyundai's technical requirements in Pakistan.

The agreement was formalised at a ceremony in Lahore, marking the introduction of Shell Helix HX8 0W-20 AH. The lubricant has been formulated in line with Hyundai engine specifications, according to a press release.

The event was attended by Zubair Shaikh, Chief Executive Officer of Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited, and Hasan Mansha, Chief Executive Officer of Hyundai Nishat Motors, alongside senior leadership from both organisations.

Shell Helix HX8 0W-20 AH is the second co-branded lubricant introduced under the Hyundai-Shell collaboration in Pakistan. The product has been designed to deliver engine protection, improved fuel efficiency and optimised performance, particularly under local driving conditions.

Under the agreement, Wafi Energy Pakistan will provide Shell lubricants aligned with Hyundai's standards, reinforcing aftersales support and ensuring customers have access to oils tailored to Hyundai vehicles.

The collaboration is presented as a technical partnership aimed at maintaining quality and performance benchmarks. By integrating OEM-aligned lubricants into the supply chain, both companies seek to offer Hyundai vehicle owners assurance regarding product authenticity and compatibility.

The new arrangement expands the jointly developed product portfolio and signals continued alignment between Wafi Energy and Hyundai Nishat Motors in servicing Pakistan's automotive market.
