Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan's full solidarity and support with the brotherly State of Qatar amid the current crisis. The Prime Minister expressed this during a telephone conversation with the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister strongly condemned the serious regional escalation resulting from the Israeli attack on Iran, which was followed by attacks against Qatar and other Gulf countries. Shehbaz Sharif assured the Amir of Qatar that Pakistan would consistently stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of Qatar and play a constructive role in ensuring peace and stability in the region.
