Homage paid to Kashmiri martyred youth Raqib Bashir

Srinagar, February 08, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Kashmir Tehreek-e-Khawateen (KTK) and the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML) have paid rich tributes to Kashmiri martyred youth, Raqib Bashir, who was martyred by Indian troops in a siege and search operation at Gundpora Pulwama on Saturday.

Zamruda Habib in a statement issued in Srinagar, while paying rich tributes to the martyred youth, said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed go waste. She urged India to give up its rigid stance over Kashmir dispute and come forward to settle the lingering dispute in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiri people. She reiterated the Kashmiris’ pledge to continue the liberation struggle till complete success.

Hurriyet leader Mohammad Yousuf Naqash along with Saleem Zargar, Ayoub Dar and Sajjad Ahmad Lone visited Zadoora and paid tributes to martyr Raqib Bashir and expressed solidarity with his family. The leaders in their address on the occasion condemned the continuous killing of youth in Kashmir and urged India and Pakistan to settle the Kashmir dispute on priority basis.

The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League, General Secretary, Muhammad Ramzan Khan and the Chairman of Muslim Political League, Farooq Ahmad Tauheedi also visited the residence of martyred youth at Zadoora in Pulwama and express solidarity with the bereaved family.

A JKML delegation comprised Abdul Ahad Parra, Feroz Ahmad Khan, Abdur Rasheed Dar, Manzoor Ahmad Lalhari visited Zadoora and participated in the funeral prayers of the martyred youth. Abdul Ahad Parra on the occasion said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyred had centre-staged the Kashmir dispute at international level and very soon the people of Kashmir would get rid of Indian bondages.
