Second session of dialogue between the government and Jamat-e-Islami will be held today to sort-out issues regarding electricity and other matters.
This was told by Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar after first session of talks in Rawalpindi.
He said that a technical committee comprising Minister for Power, Secretary Energy and representatives from the Federal Board of Revenue and the Ministry of Finance will sit with Jamat-e-Islami today for further discussion on the issue.
He expressed confidence that issue will be sorted out amicably and protesters will disperse honorably and in a dignified manner as a result of dialogue with Jamat-e-Islami leadership.
Meanwhile, talking to the media, Jamat-e-Islami leader Liaquat Baloch said they discussed all the issues with the government side and the government has assured to put our demands before the technical committee.
