Pakistan has assured its full support to Afghanistan in various areas of health sector, including the training of doctors and meeting its needs of medical and Para-medical staff.

The assurance was given by Minister for National Health Services Abdul Qadir Patel during a meeting with Afghan Health Minister Dr Qalandar Ebad, in Islamabad.

Both sides exchanged views on making efforts for polio eradication from the two countries.
