At least two persons including a Deputy Superintendent of Police were killed and more than ten people were injured in an explosion at Fatima Jinnah Road in Quetta tonight [Wednesday].

According to police sources, the nature of the blast has not been ascertained so far.

Security forces have cordoned off the area and investigations are underway.
