Minister for National Health Services Abdul Qadir Patel has said all the provinces have now been given equal representation in Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) through a bill passed by the National Assembly yesterday.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Thursday, he said irregularities carried out in Pakistan Medical and Dental Council will be investigated. He regretted such members were inducted in its board in the past which had nothing to do with this profession. He said illegal recruitments were also made by the previous government in the council.
