Yasin Malik ridicules Mehbooba’s statements

Srinagar, July 26, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, the illegally detained Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik, has said that the puppet Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, gives ridiculous statements to appease her masters in New Delhi and Nagpur.

Muhammad Yasin Malik in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Mehbooba Mufti was proving her loyalty with her masters in Nagpur and Delhi by issuing ridiculous statements and trying to equate Kashmiris’ freedom struggle with terrorism.

Kashmir, he said, is an internationally-recognised dispute and the struggle of Kashmiris is just and legal and cannot be equated with terrorism.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir National Front (JKNF), Nayeem Ahmad Khan, in a statement in Srinagar said that the Kashmiris’ ongoing freedom movement was not any terrorism on the behest of any power but an indigenous struggle for which they had rendered tremendous sacrifices.

He said that New Delhi had utilised every imperialistic tactic against the Kashmiri people during the past 69 years but fact on the ground was that they were up against Indian forces and were facing bullets and pellets on their chests.

On the other hand, Hurriyet leaders Shabir Ahmad Dar, Muhammad Iqbal Mir, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi and Ghulam Nabi War in their joint statement hailed the statement of Pakistani Advisor on Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz in which he called for settlement of the Kashmir dispute as per relevant resolutions of the United Nations.

Another Hurriyet leader Javaid Ahmad Mir in his statement said that India had no option but to resolve the Kashmir dispute. He said, Kashmir is an internationally recognized dispute and the struggle of Kashmir had its own historical background. “India is bound to follow the global trend in case of long standing Kashmir dispute under the principles of right of self-determination.

The members of the Executive Committee of the High Court Bar Association, who met in Srinagar, took stock of the situation prevailing in the Kashmir. They paid glowing tributes to all those who were martyred by the ruthless forces during the past three weeks in the territory.

Meanwhile, Islamic Political Party in a statement condemned the police raid on the house of party Chairman Muhammad Yousuf Naqash.
