Woman arrested at Al Aqsa, 10 in West Bank

Israeli police Monday arrested a Palestinian woman at Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem claiming she had a knife and took her for questioning, according to Palestinian sources. There were no further details.

Israeli army units meanwhile arrested 10 Palestinians in overnight raids across the West Bank, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

Soldiers arrested two Palestinians from a village near Jenin, north of the West Bank, and two more from the Ramallah area, two from Hebron and one each from Tulkarm, Salfit, Bethlehem and Shufat refugee camp near Jerusalem.
