United Nations Secretary-General has warned that South Sudan will be heading toward genocide unless immediate action is taken to impose an arms embargo and end hate speech and violence.

Ban ki-Moon said instability in South Sudan is threatening the region and imposition of arms embargo will diminish the capacity of all sides to wage war.
