UAE Foreign Trade Minister Sheikha Lubna leads high powered UAE delegation to Pakistan

Dubai: UAE Foreign Trade Minister Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi says object of her visit to Pakistan and holding single country exhibition UAE Expo Magnificent 7 in industrial and trading hub Karachi, from November 30 to December 2, 2011 was to further promote investment, trade ties between two brotherly countries.

She was chairing induction meeting in Dubai, which reviewed arrangements for UAE Expo- Magnificent 7 – from Nov 30 to Dec 2, at Karachi Expo Centre. Minister, who is leading high profile trade, investment delegation in mega event, said aim is to translate interactions into joint ventures, explore new avenues for investment between two brotherly states. She will meet top officials, top businessmen, CEOs of Pakistani business houses on sidelines of Magnificent 7.

Chairman Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry ADCCI Mohammed Al Romaithi, director ADNOC Shaikh Rasheed Saud Rasheed Al Shamsi, chairman Al Otaiba Group, Otaiba Saeed Ahmed Kalaf Al Otaiba, chairman Rotana Group Yousuf Mohamed Ali Nasser Al Nowais, Rasheed Mohammed Naser Almail al Zaabi of MOFT UAE, chairman Al Ghurair Group & vice chairman Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Mohamed Omar Abdulla Balfaqeh Abdurrahman Saif Ahmad Al Ghurair, CEO Julphar Saud Ali Al Neaimi, other prominent businessmen, senior UAE officials will accompany her. Sheikha Lubna will hold talks with top Pakistani officials with focus on strengthening commercial, investment cooperation between two countries.

Magnificent 7 will target manufacturing, trade, services, investment, tourism to identify areas of common interest in these sectors, strengthen public, private sector ties. UAE Expo being held in cooperation with UAE Consulate, Karachi, Pakistan government will see participation of Sindh Governor, Ministers, Chief executives of some most prominent businesses.
