According to report, 2847 criminals were arrested in 992 targeted operations during the year.

Pakistan Rangers Sindh has issued its performance report for the year 2016.

According to the report, nine hundred and ninety-two targeted operations were conducted during the year in which two thousand eight hundred and forty seven criminals were arrested.

The arrested criminals also include 350 terrorists belonging to banned organizations and eighty-seven members of Lyari gang war.

The report said that during the year, a clear decrease in various crimes was also observed with 93 percent decrease in extortion cases, 91 percent decrease in target killings, 86 percent decrease in kidnapping for ransom and 72 percent decrease in the incidents of terrorism.
