Sindh Board of Investment to hold series of investment road shows


Karachi –– Advisor to Chief Minister on Investment Muhammad Zubair Motiwala has said that Sindh Board of Investment (SBI) is organizing a series of Road Shows for which an investment & trade delegation is being constituted to visit The Peoples Republic of China, United Arab Emirates and Republic of Korea for business meetings, adding Chief Minster Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah will head the delegation.

He said this while presiding a meeting called to review the arrangements made for the participants of KOREA OVERSEAS INVESTMENT FAIR 2011 (KOIF), to be held on May 19-20, 2011.

He further said that the purpose of these road shows is to outreach a wide spectrum of potential foreign investors through focused efforts and to bring all stakeholders under one roof for the common cause promoting investment in Sindh.

Advisor to Chief Minster on Investment said that the main objective of this initiative was to disseminate latest information regarding investment of Sindh which had abundant attractive business and investment opportunities, untapped natural resources, huge mineral reserves, 350km coastline and great investment potential in non-conventional sectors of economy such as education, livestock , halal foods, etc.
