Sikh leaders denounce arrest of Hurriyet leaders in IOK

Jammu, November 22, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Social Peace Forum, a constituent of forum led by Syed Ali Gilani, today, organized a program in Jammu, which was attended by a large number of people. The JKSPF Chairman Devinder Singh while addressing the event strongly condemned the arrest of Hurriyet leaders in the Valley. He said Hurriyet leaders are treated as criminal in jails and are not provided medical facilities. “We appeal to human rights organizations to take notice of this issue seriously because this s a human issue.”Devinder Singh said for last so many months innocent people are harassed on daily basis.

In his address, Gurjeet Singh strongly condemned the house arrest of Syed Ali Shah Gilani and others Hurriyet leaders. He said without resolving the Kashmir issue, peace cannot be restored in South Asia. JKSPF pay rich tributes to those who scarified their life for the cause of Kashmir. Those attended the program included Mohit Kumar, Daljeet Singh, Kuljeet Singh, Gurjeet Singh, Puran Chand, Ashok Kumar, Vikram Kumar, Jatinder Singh, Mohinder Singh, Mohammad Hussan, Arif, Mohan Lal, Paramjeet Singh, Irshad Ahmad, Jagjeet Singh, Jaswant Singh, Sham Bhagat, Trolachan Singh, Tarsam Lal, Han Raj, Ch Musia, Jeet ch, Satnam Singh and others.
