Shutdown in Beerwah against arrest of youth

Srinagar, April 21, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, a complete shutdown was observed at Beerwah in Budgam district today, against the detention of youth and police raids on their houses. The shutdown was observed against the nocturnal raids and detention of youth by Indian police for their staging anti–India protests.

All the business establishments were closed while vehicular movement remained paralyzed on various routes leading to the town. Earlier, policemen was seen chasing the youth on the streets of the town who were protesting against the detention of the local youth. Meanwhile, Indian police arrested three youth from Srinagar.
