RS8BN SPENT TO SOLVE SANITATION PROBLEMS OF PESHAWAR ON PERMANENT BASIS: CM KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak says eight billion rupees have been spent to solve sanitation problems of provincial capital Peshawar on permanent basis.
Presiding over a meeting in Peshawar on Wednesday, he said one hundred and eighty million rupees are being spent to revive the historical and cultural beauty of the city.
On this occasion, Pervez Khattak issued directives to acquire dumping ground for solid waste on emergency basis.
Presiding over another meeting, the Chief Minister said Warsak Canal System will be remodeled to improve irrigation channels.
He said huge funds are being spent on functionalizing Och Canal which will irrigate thousands of acres of barren land in Peshawar.
