Rich tributes paid to Kashmiri martyrs

Srinagar, February 07, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Tehreek-e-Hurriyet Jammu and Kashmir and the Kashmir Freedom Front (KFF) have paid rich tributes to Raqib Bashir who was martyred by Indian troops in a siege and search operation at Gundpora Pulwama on Saturday and three martyred youth of Hajin.

The Tehreek-e-Hurriyet General Secretary, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement issued in Srinagar, while paying rich tributes to the martyred youth, said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed go waste. He reiterated the Kashmiris’ pledge to continue the liberation struggle till complete success and urged India to give up its rigid stance over Kashmir dispute and resolve the lingering dispute according to the aspirations of Kashmiri people.

On the directive of party Chairman, Syed Bashir Andrabi, a high-level delegation led by party General Secretary, Muhammad Akbar Dar and comprised Showkat Ahmad Butt and Maulana Shamas Din visited Zadoora in Pulwama to participate in the funeral prayers of Raqib Bashir.

Addressing on the occasion, Moulana Shamas Din reaffirmed that people would continue their struggle till taking it to its logical conclusion. He appealed to constituency of humanity in India to impress upon their government to stop oppression of Kashmiri people as humans cannot be held slaves for long and observed that unsettled Kashmir is not only hanging Indian growth but also peace and stability in South Asia.
